We are aware of no other examples of this map, as thus, but a similar map issued by Will A. Beach of Sioux Falls did appear in 1902, suggesting that Peterson sold the rights of his map to various local publishing houses for real-estate promotional purposes.

It covers from 2nd avenue to College Point and the Long Island Sound. Bounded on the east by Flushing Bay and on the west by Powells Cove. Proposed landfills in the Long Island Sound are ghosted in.

Glenwood and Colden are in the Buffalo vicinity, so Erie County in western New York. It was settled along the Cazenove River in the 1830's. Colden is now a small town. This is an original map, not a reproduction and does not seem to be taken from a book.
