Great for quick shaves.

Not sure how to word this coming from a guys point of view! I wanted to get my wife an electric shaver; and in the past I have always had great luck with Norelco / Phillips. I saw this advertised before it was released in the stores. I waited for it to come out; and finally when it did, I bought it immediately. I liked the way it looked, it was not bulky like other brands. It looked like an actual razor. Also the fact that it is a wet and dry razor makes it easy to use in the tub or shower. Looking at the compact design it will be easier to use then the bulky kind.

My wife has had it for 3 years now. It still works and we have had no problem with it holding a charge or breaking. However, it does NOT cut as close as a blade like the men's shavers do. It's a good for a quick shave but not for one of those intimate nights. My wife uses it for her legs and bikini area and to our surprise there is no pain with it. It is very gentle and you don't have to worry about cutting yourself. For as long as she has used it, she also has never experienced any skin discomfort or had any in grown hairs.

It's really hard to put this from a guys point of view, but I can say my wife likes it, but is not impressed with it. Unfortunately she has not tried any other razors so we cant compare it to any others. All I know is easy to and safe to use as well as easy to clean.

The blade has a rolling affect to attempt to make your skin smooth. Just in front of that blade, it has another blade that cuts sideways? It is designed to cut the longer hair so that only the stubbies go to the main rolling blade. (I have no idea if that made any since!) I know that part of the razor works great and again, it is safe to use in the bikini area. The piviting head works great around any curves of your legs or under your arm.

As far as extra blades, she had to order one from Norelco and I believe it was $20.00.... I have not yet seen any replacement blades in the store.

Cleaning the blades is easy! Just rinse them under warm water for 20 seconds. Thats it!

Recharging the razor is simple. It has a nice charging base the razor slides into for storage. As it stores, it is being charged.

This is not a very good review, just more less an FYI. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section and I will answer them.

I think the most important thing to remember is that because it does not cut like a blade, she has never had an in grown hair due to it. That may be a plus. Don't get me wrong, it does leave you smooth, just not baby soft.
