Epinions Pokemon Silver

by  DarkCrotan,  janv. 9, 2001
Pros: Great Programming, excellent RPG.
Cons: certain events in the game only happen on certain days.
Review: Well, to start this, let me just say that I've only owned the game for about a week. I find it to be an excellent example of an RPG. I have yet to try the gold version, but I don't plan on buying it. The game sells in stores at anywhere from $25 to...

Epinions Pokemon Silver( a great game)

by  thesuperz,  juil. 12, 2001
Pros: The Game has the absolute best graphic for GBC.
Cons: Not all pokemon can be caught in this game.
The Bottom Line: Because of the good graphic and decent game play.
Review: Okay! Are all of you Pokemon Fan ready for the ride, Buckle your seat belt and enjoy the ride.

This game in my opinion is one of the greatest game ever made for Gameboy Color. Even if you are not really a big fan of pokemon, but...

Epinions No. You may not try to catch em all before bed!

by  sbennick,  avr. 23, 2001
Pros: Lots of different Pokemon. Along with Old friends
Cons: Children want to play ALL the time
The Bottom Line: My children love this game.....
Review: Image my children's surprise on Christmas morning when they received not only Pokemon Gold but Silver also.... Now "I" know both games are kinda the same but to children they are 2 different creatures.

My 6 year old daughter told me the other...

Epinions Getting Better

by  ErickaJo,  nov. 14, 2000
Pros: new pokemon, better color, more in-depth game play
Cons: none I can think of right now
Review: My husband purchased both Gold and Silver for me, because he knows well my secret manias, and then he kept gold for himself. I had already become the baddest pokemon master in red, blue, and yellow, with a full pokedex. I wasn't sure what to expect...

Epinions Poker for the Adults, Pokemon for the Kiddies!

by  teulan,  mai 28, 2001
Pros: * More Pokemon fun * More to do than ever before
Cons: * Not for the "friend less"
The Bottom Line: Good for the kiddies. Not so good for older gamers however. For Pokefans though this is a must-buy.
Review: I played this game because a friend of mine was doing a Pokemon documentary and I wanted to see if there was anything to appeal to older gamers outside the target market. That was my motivation yet in this review I'll also consider the primary objective:...

Epinions Better than the first

by  brian22,  déc. 3, 2000
Pros: Looks awesome in color
Cons: The sound is always the same in battles
Review: Pokémon Silver is a great sequel to Red/Blue. I got this game because I was addicted to the original games. It takes the same concept (catch and fight) and adds much more to it. There are many new gadgets for you to find, pokemon to catch, people to...

Epinions Re-Tooled Pokemon World

by  kristalrose,  août 25, 2001
Pros: new pokemon, new adventures
Cons: More gimmicks for Nintendo to make money, and less substance for our dollar
The Bottom Line: Your pokemaniac will love it, but do we really need to see more Pokemon?
Review: Gotta Catch’em All! That’s the battle cry of all
young poke-maniacs, and my son Allen is no different. We
first read about Pokemon Silver and Gold a year before it
was introduced to America. Both my son and I (Yes, I have
been...

Epinions Not as good as the first (review counts for both Gold + S.

by  girlgamer,  déc. 26, 2000
Pros: New pokemon, the clock, same battle system
Cons: bland world compared to the first games, waiting a whole week if you miss and event on a certain day
Review: If you've played the red and/or blue versions and are a pokemon freak, chances are, you've been anticipating this. I'm sorry to dissapoint you poke fans, but this is lacking compared to the first ones. First of all, I didn't like the world (where you...

Epinions I sort of feel ripped off!!

by  gdwtch22,  avr. 12, 2001
Pros: Came with the Game boy!!
Cons: Not compatible with Pokemon Stadium
The Bottom Line: Mothers beware, this one isn't compatible with Pokemon Stadium for Nintendo 64, read this and you won't make the same mistake I did.
Review: My son has had the game Pokemon Stadium for awhile now, and I noticed one day that you can't use all the features of the game without a game boy version of pokemon. I found a really good buy (at costco) on a gameboy color that came with the pokemon...

Epinions Pokerific

by  scorpio8,  oct. 26, 2000
Pros: Combinations
Cons: sometimes it'll make you so tired after playing for hours
Review: This game is just like Pokemon Blue, Red, Yellow, and Gold. The differences in these games is the combinations of the characters, the items found in each game is not always in the same location or time period.

Pokemon Silver is a great...
