Epinions Three cheers for Game Boy Micro

by  mack-dohc,  déc. 29, 2006
Pros: Portability, stunning screen, stylish design, expansive (and inexpensive) game library.
Cons: How much longer will the Advance lineup be supported? Possibly not child-friendly.
The Bottom Line: A great console that maximizes portability by minimizing its size. The beautiful screen renders games in vibrant detail, and additions like the headphone jack make the Micro a winner.
Review: For the uninitiated, the Game Boy Micro is Nintendo's latest addition to their venerable portable Game Boy console lineup. The Micro made its North American debut in September 2005 - albeit with very little fanfare in the US. Although I'm by ...

Epinions Game Boy Micro

by  garfield135,  mars 6, 2008
Pros: Size, screen, good looks, fun factor.
Cons: Backwards compatibility, and speaker.
The Bottom Line: If you find it for a good price, get it.
Review: This is my review on the Game Boy Micro; the first Advance Game Boy with both a normal headphone jack and a backlit screen. So, I got my Micro last year. It cost me only $16.50 on eBay shipped. In case you are wondering, they don't normally cost that ...

The Bottom Line: The Most Portable System ! Buy it on sale !
Review: I've just got a GAMEBOY MICRO (i'm 26) and i'm very happy with it ! I bought it (with yoshi's island 20$can) to play in the metro or bus after work and the screen is so bright that it is really easy to play even if the thing is really really small... if ...

Epinions Amazing

by  sng5,  juil. 20, 2006
Pros: Brighter screen, smaller equipment
Cons: size might cause you to loose it.
Review: This little game has such a bright screen unlike the other games. You can really get into the game and be able to see it really well. You can take it anywhere it will fit in your pocket. The game piece may be smaller but the screen is the same size and ...

Epinions Game Boy Micro

by  emwd,  août 30, 2006
Pros: Portable and durable
Cons: Could use a brighter back light.
Review: This is a really cool pocket game system. It fits into the smallest of pockets making it the most portable ever. There's nothing to flip open and risk breakage, making it durable. Additionally ,it's easy for small hands to hold onto - Love it! Love it! ...

Epinions Small is the New Big: Nintendo Game Boy Micro

by  B_Campbell, expert in Games ,  oct. 4, 2005
Pros: Small: 4"x2"x1", light, extremely bright display, trendy, standard headphone jack, huge GBA library
Cons: Feels fragile, unprotected display, no Game Boy/GBC compatibility
The Bottom Line: The Micro is a tough choice at only $20 more than the SP. Cool and stylish, it's a great answer to Sony's PSP, and hundreds of games are already available.
Review: Nintendo has practically owned the handheld gaming market ever since the release of the original big grey brick of a Game Boy. Back then, nobody cared that they were playing games in only pea-soup green or that the thing drained batteries like nobody's ...

Epinions Big gaming in a small package

by  eternityawaits,  mars 28, 2006
Pros: Small, portable, customizeable, bright screen.
Cons: Screen size is small, price may be a factor for some.
The Bottom Line: Great for teens, commuters, techies, definitely not your kid's Game Boy. I love mine, but make sure it has what you're looking for.
Review: I don’t think of Nintendo’s Game Boy Micro as a new system, so much as I think of it as an extension of their already popular Game Boy Advance line. The system is essentially a Game Boy Advance in a smaller shell. I don’t think of it as a “novelty” ...
